Are you looking forward to meeting Breanna Stewart up close but can’t wait until the new season starts? You are in luck! Stewart will be throwing out the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners game on April 30 at 6:10 PM. The Mariners will be taking on the defending World Series Champion Kansas City Royals, so it will be an awesome game and the perfect opportunity to see Stewart in Seattle.
Dubbed Storm Night, the game has tickets for sale at $29 for Main Level tickets, which typically run for $40. The deadline to purchase tickets at this great rate is April 29 at 5:00 PM. It is also only available online and not through the box office. You can order up to 19 tickets for your group online. If you need 20 tickets or more, or if you require wheelchair seating, you can call Elizabeth McCloskey. If you do buy 20 tickets or more, you will have your group name posted on the scoreboard after the fourth inning. You will also receive the benefit of having two free tickets to a home game in the future, with the exception of Home Run games. When you do order your tickets, be sure to enter the discount code Storm in order to receive the lower price.
Another cool thing about that date is that Stewart will be hosting a fun meet and greet event during which fans are encouraged to meet her during the first and second innings of the game. The meet and greet will be available on the top of Section 128 and it’s a good idea to get there early to meet Stewart as well as to enjoy the game. In addition to meeting Stewie, fans can look forward to some freebies during the game. A Nelson Cruz bobble head will also be available for the first 20,000 fans who arrive at the stadium.
Stewart was a four-year starter at U-Conn, and she is far from the first Husky chosen as the #1 draft pick. In fact, she is the fifth Husky to be picked first. The Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four multiple times, she was also AP Player of the Year three times in a row.
